Come to Me (Vampire Poem #3: Halloween)
Come to me- -see the madness
of your passion. Bend to my touch
a willow under wet snow.
Melt on me- -let me drink
the sedate love running
from your obsidian eyes.
Come- -strip from inane psycho-babble.
I will make you a part of me- -
let me save you from yourself.
Come- -die with me. Drink
this cursed death so we may last
together- -forever in this black hole
- -darkness so deep it shines red,
blinding. We will clutch this night's
hollows to the bosom we feed upon
eternally- -shadows of half life.
Tranquilize me with your blood.
Lover, drink at my flesh- -
knowing you will never be the same.
Come to me in the blood drenched
madness of our passion, scream out
my name- -and we will be
eternal
night.
Come now- -
join the damned,
or be merely- -dead,
pointlessly void- -rotting fruit,
join this soulless body
in infinite night.
